We catch up with an old fave, whose new CD, Ex Hex, is out now.

Why did you leave Boston?
I moved back to D.C. [where she grew up] last summer. I love their community of musicians. I also have more space.

How much time do you devote to music?
I have two part-time day jobs, teaching guitar and walking dogs. The rest of the time I work on music.

Who's in the band?
Devin Ocampo on drums and me on guitar. He's encouraged me to be more rockin' and to really try to kick some butt.
